The idea of doing away with address book/ students directory is not an idea I can support. It is the sense of belonging which is most valued by all of us. Addresses/ directory helps in reaching out as also to come in terms with friends/brothers/buddies with whom there has been no contact for years (decades!!). My proposition would be to continue with the adress directory.

Looking at it from another angle, by seeing the address which generally gives what the person is engaged in is likely to make parents choose the school. Why?? cause they would see how well our students are doing. When we are thinking about encouraging people of assam to send their wards to SSG why should we do away with this option to let people know how well our people are doing in life.

Proposition personal, acceptance of the proposition-- up to the house.

Dear dada,

Apology for replying late. Actually, we are not doing away with the address book. Rather, we are trying to bring out the address book in a separate piece which will be smaller in size and will be handy to carry along.
