Greetings to all from the General Secretary, OBA SSG.
You all might be aware of the forthcoming 12th AGM of OBA SSG on 10th April 2010 at Shilp Gram, Panjabari, Guwahati at 10.00 hours to be followed by Family Get-together, Cultural Show & Dinner from 18.00 hours. I take the privilege to invite you all to the event ,and solicit your participation to make it a grand success. I would also like to request you all to circulate the message to all concerned.
Kindly refer to the attached files with this mail and do the needful as mentioned below.
1. The draft amended copy of the constitution of OBA is attached for your kind perusal and suggestion. Kindly pen down your suggestions to specific Articles of the constitution and mail to info@obassg.com or diganta@obassg.com latest by 25th March 2010.
2. The Page Maker file format of Address Book is attached herewith for required updates by individual members, if any. Kindly make the necessary correction and mail back your corrected address either to abhigyan99@yahoo.com, or jagadish2030@yahoo.com or info@obassg.com latest by 20th March 2010. This year we intend to print the Address Book separately, compact in size to carry along. Kindly include your e-mails also. As many of the members are not internet friendly, kindly attend to make corrections in case of such members and mail the corrected address to be included in the proposed publication. Someone may take the initiative to transfer the file to doc format and post a pdf format of the address book in the www.obassg.com site to have more effective response in case of latest and corrected address. Members whose names are not included in the address book are requested to send their addresses for inclusion in the address book to the above mentioned e-mail address.
3. I would request the members who have not registered themselves with the website www.obassg.com , to kindly visit the link http://www.obassg.com/user/register and fill up the form and submit for registration.
4. I would request all the members to send/transfer/ deposit their Annual subscription of Rs 500.00 to OBA SSG Account in the SBI Six Mile Branch. The savings A/C No of OBA SSG is 30641981434 and name of the account is OBA SSG.
5. It is an earnest request to all the members who are into designing & graphics or good at it are requested to design the cover page of the souvenir The Bridge 2010, Address Book, Invitation Cards, badge for members to be gifted as a door gift at AGM 2010, Brooch Pin for lady members, permanent letter head of OBA and send the designs to diganta@obassg.com latest by 20th March 2010.
6. Though we intend to provide free lunch & dinner for all in the coming AGM, we are still running short of the budget. Members are also requested to look for the avenues for collection of fund for the AGM through sponsorship, patronage and advertisement in the souvenir. The onus on the entrepreneur members of the OBA is to reduce such burden by means of their advertisement in the souvenir. Cheers!!
7. A plot of land for OBA at Guwahati is in the pipeline with the supoort and guidence from Shri Subash Das da.
8. MAJOR DISCUSSIONS AND DECISIONS IN REGARD TO OBA & SCHOOL WILL BE TAKEN UP IN THE COMING AGM. HENCE I REQUEST YOU ALL AGAIN TO ATTEND THE SAME.
